Necessity is the mother of invention, is a well-known proverb. Just as frustration and irritation also can be a force that triggers creativity. 

After a number of really tough races where the equipment failed him, Ulf Åström decided to develop his own gear, making sure they'd be good enough to meet the challenges. If you're passionate about bike riding and also own your own metal industrial company where metal components are produced on a daily basis  - LG PRODUKTION - it's not that farfetched after all. 

When Ulf was about to run his first 'Novemberkasan' (a really rough, dirty, and cold enduro race) he did so with a bike equipped with his own parts milled in aluminum, custom-made with his name and number. Sturdy stuff! Made of massive, high-quality aluminum - lightweight but very strong.       

That was the start for Parts by Sweden. Today we produce and deliver parts for motor sport bikes used for motocross, enduro, as well as speedway - both in Sweden and internationally. 

And because there are a few co-workers in the company that rides both enduro and motocross in our free time, we are continuously putting our own parts to the test! So in truth, our parts are developed by bike riders for bike riders - because we like stuff that's durable and strong and we think that you do too! That is why we keep focusing on function, durability, and high quality - to the right price - developing parts that we like to use on our own bikes. 

Tweaking it a bit, a little bling is never wrong though - so if you'd like to pimp your bike some parts can be custom-made with your own name, number or a logo of your choosing - as a way of making your bike stand out a bit.
